Xbox 360/Xbox 360 Elite:
Ah, the Xbox 360, like its predecessor, it gives us great games such as: Halo 3, Gears of War, Call of Duty, and Elder Scrolls. It also allows us to play our old Xbox games. But, with all great things, it comes with a price....
Complications:
-
Red Lights of Doom
- Red Circle of Death
- Faulty Cooling System
You see, if you have bought an Xbox 360 when it first came out and have not had any problems with it, you are one lucky soul. If you have had problems with your Xbox 360 when it came out, two things:
- You have my sympathy
- It's not your fault
Early Xbox 360 versions had....problems. It tended to either:
- Freeze
- Melt into a molten pile of slag
Another problem was the warranty issue, most units, when dead(did not work), the warranty did not cover it, and when it did, the Xbox 360 that came back to the owner was not their original one, but a refurbished one that died the next day.
Nintendo Wii
What the heck was Nintendo thinking! The Wii is the most stupid console out there! Nintendo tried to make a console so different, so innovative, that they ditched a modern and reliable controller for some remote that had problems half the time! And if you didn't wear the strap, you could break your TV waving that thing around!
Complications:
Do not buy a Wii!(Like its possible, there's like only 10 units for sale in the U.S...).
PlayStation 3
Ah, the graphical wonder of the PS3, good games have appeared for this console, and have been good. There is no problem with the machine itself, only one thing is a problem.
Complications:
The PS3, thanks to Sony, is rarer than the Wii.
Summary: New-Gen consoles... Have developers tried to make a console so innovative, that they have lost the sight of the true path?
My opinion: Controller, Disk, Console: that’s all you ever need for a gaming system.
