Why you should own a Sega Saturn

5 reasons why you should own a piece of gaming history

The Sega Saturn was a disaster for the Sega Company, its rival the Sony Playstation was faster, had miles better graphics and soon all the big companies switched to the Playstation. The Saturn was dead in the water before long, but now on ebay you can pick them up for very little and I’m going to tell you why you should do this.

  1. The Saturn is a cult classic console, it can actually play VCD with an expansion cart you buy, this is one of the first consoles to play movies, and not many people know that.
  2. The Saturn as some of the best games ever released for a console, there are classics such as panzer dragon and many more, the games may not look the best but their game play can not be questioned.
  3. One reason I bought my Saturn was the fact that it was bought of a market with a game that is worth more then £50 due to people wanting them. Some of the Saturn’s games bring in very high prices, buying a Saturn of a market can see you making double your original amount in rare games.
  4. If you buy a Saturn you will own apart of the Sega’s history it is one of the consoles that helped kill of Sega.
  5. The main reason I would tell anyone to buy a Saturn is because they are just over all one of the best consoles you could own, the games rock! The console is sleek. I love the design of the console; it’s just a nice piece of hardware. Get a Saturn get games such as Sega rally, virtual on, virtual fighter and best of all pebble beach golf, best golf game you will ever play in your life.

Bonus reason their chip as hell to pick up now a days so there’s not a real reason why you should pick one up :P
