Many PlayStation Portable users (PSP) have trouble transferring some of their favorite songs to their PSP. Many have tried using Windows Media Player to sync music onto their PSP. However, this program isn't one that you want to use. Instead, there is a much easier way for Windows computers. |
- Connect a USB cable, linking your PSP and your computer. Switch on your PSP and turn it to USB mode. Note: Do not exit USB mode or disconnect the cable.
- Right click the start button on the bottom left corner of your screen. Left click on explore. A window will open. At that window, look for your PSP device. It should be on a scroll bar on the left hand side, probably indicated as PSP a removable disk F,G,H etc. Click on it to make sure it is your PSP. The contents should include a games, music, video folder, and etc.
- Go to a music file that you want to transfer to your PSP. Right click that file and place your mouse pointer over “send to”. Click on the name of your PSP from step 2. The file will be transferred over to your PSP.
- Go back to the explore window from step 2 and find your PSP. The name of the song file should be there. Important: Drag and drop that file to the music folder in your PSP.
