The Play Station 2 was to me the best console system out there. There are hundreds maybe even thousands of games for it worldwide. And I'm going through the top five that I, as a gamer, loved the most.
Black
When I talk about game I always bring this one up. I loved this game ten out of ten hands down. Blowing stuff up is very fun especially when the graphics are ahead of its time. My favorite weapon; ak47 assault rifle. In this game, you can really go around destroying everything. Almost anything you can shoot you can break. But the game gets really hard after the first few levels. You might want to practice on easy before you try to beat the game. But I know you'll like this one.
Star Wars Battle Front 2
This is one of those games that I play over and over again. I'll turn on my ps2 just to play this game for a few minutes. And I'm a huge Star Wars fan so that helps this games' review. The first one was good but this is just a great game overall. Space battles can get a little boring, but the ground battles are worth it. And the story mode kept me playing. I liked how long it was and how it went with the movies. Ten out of ten all the way.
The Sims: Bustin' Out
Let me say that this game is very boring. But for some reason I like playing it. And I don't know why. “Oh lets go play a game that's just like real life!” what a piece of crap. Yet I loved the game play of it. But it's hard trying to get my character to be happy and get new skills. I love getting everything up and getting a great job. Making like $1200 a day and all. You can also get you mechanics up all the way, build gnomes and sell them for $200 a piece so you don't have to work. Seven out of ten.
Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock
This is the most repetitive game in the world. Just as bad as Doctor Mario really. But just like the last one, I enjoy it. I became addicted to this game after a few tracks. I've played Stricken over a hundred times! I don't like most of the songs on here but the ones I do like I really like so it almost makes up for it. I really don't know who picks the songs for these games but I hope they hire teens that have good taste next time. But the game is fun. If you close your eyes after playing you'll see the notes in your head. It makes it kind of hard to sleep after nine hours of playing that. Eight out of ten.
Gun
I would say I had more fun with this game then any other ps2 game hands down. I loved westerns as a kid so this game kind of struck a cord for me. I had hopes that this game would open up an area of western games but I was sadly mistaken there. I like the no loading screens in free roam. And the side missions were better then the main story mode. But I did love the story. I could tell the creators were trying to make it sad but they kind of failed there. Total ten out of ten!
I do not own a PlayStation 3 yet but as soon as they drop the price by a few hundred dollars then it's mine! And in a year or so I'll have an article about the games for that one too.
