There have been tons of opinions on which console is the best. The X-Box, Wii, and PS3 are battling it out right now. The PS3 has a new breathtaking graphics system, while the Wii has new motion sensing technology. The X-Box brought nearly nothing new to the market except for the upgraded graphics. (It runs on HD DVD) But if you put the Wii and X-Box together you would get the PS3. The PS3 has new Blu Ray technology to make your games look better than X-Box 360. The PS3 also has the new motion sensing capabilities. (Like the Wii)
Look at the X-Box 360's internet capabilities. It is very good for online gaming. The PS3 doesn't have as good online gaming as the X-Box's internet, but it is getting there. The PS3's is free, while the X-Box 360's is $50 a year. The X-Box doesn't give you internet access. If you want to you can go on the internet straight from your PS3. You can go on Google and even play some games.
Another handy thing about the PS3 is that you can download (for free) or buy Linux. The PS3 has the ability to support Linux software. Something the X-Box hasn't been able to grab a hold of. Another thing the PS3 can do and the X-Box can't is video, music, and photo storage. You can go on the internet with your PS3 and download a music video for free off of Google or download some photos from Google. Then after you have done that you can make your photo your wallpaper. The PS3 far surpasses the X-Box 360.
The Wii is just an ant compared to the PS3. The Wii can display picture of up to 480p and the PS3 can reach up to 1080i. That is almost triple the amount. Everyone thought the Wii was something with its motion sensing technology. The PS3 also has motion sensing technologies. The Wii has the system of making your own avatar called a Mii. The PS3 doesn't have that, yet.
The spring of 2007 comes “Home”. A 3-D interactive world where you make your own avatar, create your own content and post in the virtual world, and decorate your own apartment. If you put youtube, myspace, the Nintendo's Mii system, and X-Box's achievement system you would get about half of home. Right now the X-Box has more games, and the PS3's game libraries is thin but give it six more months and the PS3 will have the best games out there like, Home, Mgs4, Killzone 2, and little big planet. The X-Box has Good games like halo 3, and bioshock, but in six months the PS3 will have the best games. The Wii has no really good games coming out besides super smash bros. The PS3 may be the expensive one for 500 to 600 bucks (500=60 gig 600= 80 gig), but it is the right choice.
