MH Guide to Killing Monsters

If you have any problem on killing specific type of monsters just ask me... I will have another guide ready soon.

Unless if you have completed the whole game and call yourself a pro, you will find this guide very useless. I'm haven't completed the whole game either but I have already hunted most of the monsters in this game which makes me eligible to make this guide for newbies in Monster Hunter.

Basically in Monster Hunter, you start as a hunter and you must complete various quests in order to advance to more harder quests and unlock more of the game content. For newbies who have just started playing MH, I would suggest in trying out village elder quests rather than taking the ones in the guild which are more powerful in terms of life, attack damage and size.

Here's the guide to killing the monsters.

There are 2 types of main monsters in this game. They are:-

1)Wyverns

2)Elder Dragons

Wyverns

Wyverns make up of the majority of the boss monsters you will fight in the game.

Velocidrome/Giadrome/Gendrome/Iodrome

These are the alpha leaders of their respective species. The giadrome is the monster in the urgent quest for 1* Village Elder rank quests for MHF2 and you will need to slay it to proceed to 2* Village Elder quests. The velocidrome is the monster in the urgent quest for the 1st vilage elder quests for MHF and you will also need to slay it in order to proceed to 2* Village Elder quests. The gendrome can be hunted in the 2* village elder quests and the iodrome in 3* village elder quests.I would suggest using a Hunting Horn to kill these dromes because they are very agile and they are a pain in the ass with slow weapons. They tend to jump around the whole place and can call for their preys to attack you.

Yian Kut Ku

The Yian Kut Ku is another pain in the ass monster as it can throw fire thingys out of its beak which does alot of damage to your character. It also can peck you, charge at you while spitting fire thingys out from its beak, and occasionally flying up to nose-dive you. When it is in rage mode, that's when its mouth starts breathing out orange smoke and its ear closes, I suggest newbies should be more careful when tackling it on rage mode. To effectively damage the birdy, I recommend a use of a longsword which is a good weapon as it can charged to unleash a deadly spirit attack in MHF2 which deals alot of damage. The longsword is a light-weight weapon you will find as it is easy to walk around with it and you can hit the bird by constantly slashing it.The kut ku's weak points are:-

1)Head (Ears can be broken)

2)Wings

Cephadrome

The cephadrome is a sand fish, which means it lives in the desert swimming in sand. It is the alpha leader of the pack of cephalos. Most newbies will find the cephalos hard to kill as it stays in the sand most of the time. Well you can get it out by using a sonic bomb.I recommend using a katana as you can make it flinch by constantly slashing it. You must throw it where the cephalos is about to go and once it flies out of the sand quickly start slashing once it falls down and starts waddling around. Eventually, it will go to its resting place and sleep. Either you start to killing it or capture it by using a shock trap and two tranq bombs.

Congalala

The congalala is a dirty ass pink gorilla which is hard to kill for most newbies. To kill it you will require:-

1)10 potions/10 Mega potions

2)Whetstones

3)deoderant (optional)

4)demondrugs/armorskins (optional)

5)shock trap (optional)

6)2 tranq bombs (if shock trap is in use)

7) Paintballs (essential for tracking where the hell the gay dude went)

The congalala can do some attacks that can badly damage your hunter. It can jump up and land on its belly causing a quake if you stand to close or damage you if it hits you. Theres also the ground smash, fart and the belly inflator. It can also slash the ground and then fall down on its back and rests in result giving you time to hit it. One of the most disgusting things about the fella is that he can also dig into his ass and throw shit at you. It will make you have this item blockage so thats why you will need the deoderant. I recommend katana or hunting horn for this monster as its slow. Once its in its rage mode its ass turns red and attacks will do more damage and are faster so watch out.

Khezu

The khezu is the urgent quest for 2* Village elder quests for MHF2. You will need to slay this before you can go on to the next level. The khezu is a pussy with a giant dick as a head that makes it look all so wrong. It can rape you if you're not realy =).The khezu is a really slow ass and it will give lots of time for you to do damage and set traps. Its attacks are all thunder element based, so I advise you to have thunder resistant armor and bring lots of potions and whetstones. I recommend using lance/gunlance because it can scream and if you do not bring a guard ability weapon, you will get raped by its attacks. The khezu can do some attacks which are the electroballs from his mouth, jump, electro jump, scream, tailwhip, electric body shield and his head can elongate and try to hit you. Once you get it to rage mode, the khezu will be a bit more hard to hit as it can now do the electro jump which kills hunters with low life.

This is the end of my guide for newbies. I will be back with another guide for tougher monsters. I hope that you will find this guide helpful.
