Need help choosing a game console?

The top 3 competing game console companies have brought out their best of the best in the past 2 years but which one is the best investment. At the prices these systems are selling for you want your money's worth.

After a lot of investigation I discovered that the PS3 is not up to standards and not worth investing in yet. However, Playstation has a way of showing up their shortcomings and proving that they are the company to beat so consider purchasing in a year or so as blue ray still isn't perfected.

Without a doubt the Xbox is an outstanding system with incredible graphics and unstoppable game play. I am in awe of their ability to create so many ways to interact with the Xbox. However, there are things you need to be aware of if you are considering purchasing an Xbox. The Internet hook up can be very difficult and costly. The genre of games produced for the Xbox 360 is still 80% RPG games with serious amounts of fighting. If you were purchasing this for a young child or a female then I would advise against it. The overall amount of Xbox 360 games produced to date is much smaller than PS3 or the Wii.

Speaking of the Wii, I just can't say enough about this system. It is a much better system for the money, costs less than the other systems, uses both Wii games AND Gamecube games. The Internet hook-up is extremely easy and if you already have wireless Internet then it is even easier and there is no need for additional expenses for parts. It has a built in hard drive so no need for costly memory cards. It will adapt to any Gamecube component.

The best thing of all is the ability to purchase credits either from a retailer or online with a credit card. The credits are stored on your Wii and can be applied to the purchase of downloadable games such SNES Super Mario. If you purchase the Wii with a game enclosed you will love the one with the Wii Sports. This is a challenging, fun and interactive variety of sports games that will certainly put your best backhand, strikes and fastball to the test. Leave it to Nintendo to impress us again.
